The Mazda MX5 combines the feeling of balance and harmony to create the ultimate Zoom-Zoom. The addition of the Roadster Coupe into the MX5 range provides a unique combination of attributes, from the thrill of driving an open-top sports car, with the added security of a hard top.

The Roadster Coupes first ever powered retractable hard-top, which does not sacrifice any boot space, goes from closed to open in 12 seconds. The addition of DSC (Dynamic Stability Control) as standard equipment on both the Soft-top and Roadster Coupe along with the MX5's renowned chassis balance and nimble handling, all come together to create the ultimate Zoom-Zoom experience.

The Roadster Coupe has smooth aerodynamic lines from bonnet to boot, creating the appearance of a lower, more powerful vehicle. Fender arches are notably more pronounced and the wide shoulder area of the body tapers to a narrower sill to lend a light-on-its-feet look. In profile, MX5 continues the low, flowing shoulder line established by the original. Side surfaces just below the shoulder create prominent highlights between the wheels, resembling taut skin stretched over toned muscle.

The MX5 Roadster has all of the features of the MX5 Soft Top model but with a hard top.
