The heart and soul of the new Renault Laguna dCi is a 110kW, 2.0 litre, common-rail fuel-injected, turbocharged diesel engine, delivering an impressive 110kW of power. Not sure what all that means? Put simply, it gives you 6 cylinder performance from a 4 cylinder engine.

The sweeping curves of the all new Renault Laguna are easy to admire, but look deeper and you’ll soon appreciate the meticulous attention paid to the suspension, cornering characteristics and weight distribution. The Electronic Stability Programme offers peace of mind. Should you need to stop quickly, you have the sure-footed confidence of ABS, Electronic Brake Distribution and Emergency Brake Assist. All of which work tirelessly to enhance your driving experience.

The good news continues when you consider the fuel economy of the new Laguna dCi. A combined highway and city fuel consumption of 7.0 litres per 100km for the 6-speed Auto-Adaptive automatic and 6.0 litres per 100km for the 6-speed manual, needs no explaining. What may take some comprehending is your ability to travel almost 1000 kilometres on a single tank of fuel.
