Master is the biggest van in the Renault light commercial range, with four configurations offering up to 12.6 cubic metres in space.

A big load needs a big engine, and under the Master's bonnet you'll find 2.5 litres of direct injection common rail turbo diesel power. It makes overtaking a breeze yet delivers a fuel economy of just 7.9 litres per 100 kilometres. And the standard six-speed robotized Quickshift gearbox allows you to effortlessly switch between manual and automatic modes, with auto mode choosing between 7-gear shift patterns tailored to specific road conditions and road gradients. And because Quickshift ensures that the engine is always operating in its optimal range, it can help reduce fuel consumption by up to 10%.

But it's as much thoroughbred as workhorse. For example, the cabin is designed ergonomically with everything you need within easy reach. Dashboards and instrumentation are clean and uncluttered. Controls fall naturally to hand. 'Options' like air-conditioning and CD players are standard. Driving positions are high and large glass areas maximise visibility.

Optional 270° rear doors open flat against the sides of the van to help you get things in and out, while a 1.1 metre sliding side door always comes in handy.

ABS with Emergency Brake Assist ensures the shortest braking distance without skidding or wheel locking. Height adjustable seat-belts have built in pretensioners and load-limiters. Standard driver and passenger airbags are just another sign of Renault's commitment to you and your company's safety.

And since you spend your life on the road, there are plenty of stowage spaces, big and small. There's even an air-chilled glovebox with room for two 1.5 litre bottles. All of which help you drive efficiently, safely and without fatigue.

The Master's efficient exterior shape belies a huge, efficiently designed interior space. Available in three wheel bases and three roof heights, there's almost 1.3m between wheel arches and between 2.63m and 3.63m in platform length.
