With dual front, side and curtain
airbags now standard across the range, everyone can be safely

system that transfers brake torque between axles) is also standard.
Dual front SRS airbags and head-impact protection built into all
pillars and upper cabin surfaces helps reduce head injuries in
the unlikely event of an accident.
All Grand Vitara models are equipped with ‘Electronic
Stability Program’ (ESP) technology, an advanced safety
function which helps the driver regain control of a sliding vehicle.
ESP is a computer controlled technology which uses inbuilt sensors
to automatically apply braking to individual wheels. This quickly
helps restore correct road alignment as soon as any loss of vehicle
control is detected.
